In order to fulfil all requirements, Heléns offers a wide program of Piston Rods in a number of qualities. Normal chromed rods of the highest class, NiCr 350 for tougher demands and two stainless variants; AISI 329 and 1.4542. On request, we are pleased to offer chromed tubes.

Heléns stock several types of Piston Rod as standard. They are primarily characterized by very good corrosion resistance, weldability and machinability.

• Chromed Piston Rod in quality 20MnV6, NiCr 350 (Ni min 30 my, Cr min 20 my), tolerance ISO f7.

 

• Chromed stainless Piston Rod in quality AISI 329 and 1.4542. With the assistance of manufacturers and our warehouse, we can supply additional dimensions and qualities. We can also arrange piston tubes on request.

Heléns stock a wide assortment of skived and roller-burnished or honed cylinder tubes. Our cylinder tubes has good surface smoothness and narrow tolerances. For simpler applications, we can offer a large assortment of bright-drawn cylinder tubes.

Heléns stock two types of cylinder tubes:

• Honed/Skived and roller burnished cylinder tubes material E355+SR (St 52 BK + S), EN 10305-1 and 10305-2 (DIN 2391/2393), tolerance ISO H8, Ra = max 0.4 my.

 

• Bright drawn cylinder tubes RTU material E355C (St 52-3 BK), EN 10305-2 (DIN 2393), tolerance ISO H9/H10, Ra = max 0.8 my.
